Jessica & Kendale

Jessica and Kendale said their “I Do’s” this past weekend at a lovely little chapel in Krum, Texas.  It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony.  They invited only their closest family and friends and wrote their own vows.  It always gets me choked up when I hear couples describe their love for each other and I wasn’t the only one getting teary eyed at this wedding.   I absolutely love capturing real emotion and this wedding was full of touching moments.  I especially liked the rendition of “When I Say I Do” that was sung while the family prayed together.  It keeps running through my head as I work on these images.  I hope the rest of Jessica and Kendale’s life together is as beautiful and loving as this special day.

Tracy & Robi

Tracy and Robi were married this past Saturday at the beautiful Texas Discovery Gardens.  The threat of rain had us all a little on edge wondering if we’d have to move the ceremony indoors but clearly these two were meant to have their perfect day.  Forgotten bow-ties, missing keys, and loose buttons couldn’t stand in the way either…especially with a fabulous team of wedding planners like Bride Associates on the job.  Chelsey and Courtney did a fantastic job bringing everything together.  They took care of everyone, including me bringing me much appreciated glasses of ice water during the night, and put everyone’s nerves at ease.  I hope that Tracy, Robi and their son’s Alex and Christian have many more perfect days like this ahead of them!  A little preview…

Wynter & Jerrick

Wynter and Jerrick are married!  They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at The Lakes of Castle Hills this past Saturday.  They are currently off enjoying themselves on their honeymoon cruise and I couldn’t be happier for these two.  I also couldn’t help myself but to use my recent pregnancy induced insomnia to go ahead and pull together their preview.  I know there are quite a few picture hungry individuals in the family who are anxious to get a look at these.   There are so many favorites I have to fight the urge to post the entire wedding gallery here….

The toasts were my favorite part of the evening!  You could tell that everyone really put some time and effort into what they would say, or in this case what they’d perform.  As the DJ called it, there was an “A Cappella Karaoke” remake of Jessie’s Girl…now to be known as Jerrick’s Girl, and The Theme Song from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air got reworded to fit the details of Jerrick and Wynter’s relationship.  They were priceless and had everyone there belly laughing like nobody’s business!

Adriana & Chris

I’m so excited to post this wedding!   I had a great time photographing this wedding.  It was nothing short of beautiful, like a fairytale come true.  This was the first time I had a couple take a horse-drawn carriage ride to their reception and now I’m sure I’ll wish everyone could do the same.  Such a fun and romantic touch!   I could really tell by the guests  that Adriana and Chris are  loved!   I only got to know just a little about them both, but especially when listening to the toast it was easy to see why they have such close family and friends that love them dearly.  I loved watching the emotion in the eyes of these two as they shared their evening together.  And the smiles on the faces of their guests as they danced the night away.  I know they are going to have a marriage full of  joy.   Here are some favorites from your wedding I hope you two enjoy them.
