I was looking forward to seeing how Evelyn and Tony’s “green” wedding would come together. These guys put a lot of effort into selecting decor that could they would reuse in their home, flowers that are beautiful and pesticide free, lots of recycled materials, and a venue that is energy and and water-efficient. A lot of the lovely details were handmade and purchased from artisans on Etsy supporting cruelty-free small businesses. I happen to be a big fan of the maker of the ties that Tony and his groomsmen wore. Check out the Cyberoptix TieLab if you are in the market for some “Ties that Don’t Suck”. Delicious vegan fare was provided by the talented Spiral Diner & Bakery. It was a beautiful way for a beautiful new life together to begin! Please enjoy this little teaser…

The big day finally arrived and it was worth every second of worry and anticipation! This past Sunday Tiffany and Derek tied the knot at the beautiful Paradise Cove in Grapevine. Everything about the day was flawless. A terrific venue, a stunning bride, an incredible dress, and some of the most creative loving people you could ever hope to meet made for a truly breathtaking evening. I think it is extra special to be able to include the talents and gifts of family members in a wedding. Derek’s father conducted the ceremony, Tiffany’s Aunt performed a song, Tiffany’s Father wrote a song and shot video of the event, Tiffany’s Stepfather and Mother worked tirelessly to achieve the perfect chair ties… : ) It was lovely to see how everyone came together to create something priceless! Katie’s sister Lauren has been a terrific client for some time now so I was very excited when Katie contacted me at the beginning of the year regarding her December wedding at Level Two. Katie made an absolutely beautiful bride and there were quite a few tearful moments throughout the evening. It was a pleasure to be able to capture and experience such an emotional and magical night.
