Walker Family Session

I absolutely love getting to spend time with former brides and grooms and seeing their families change and grow. I spent some time this past weekend catching up with Jessica, Kendale, and their sweet little girl. We made use of the Grapevine Botanical garden to get some cute shots of them enjoying each other’s company. Little Miss H gave me the best hug when we said goodbye. I look forward to seeing her again soon!

Jenny & Michael

I met up with Jenny and Michael at Mockingbird Station this weekend to shoot their engagement session. Talk about a great place for photos! I could have spent the whole day with them there and still not hit all the spots I had in mind. I had fun getting to know these two as we took advantage of a few of the different settings available. Mr. B’s 6 Month Session

I got to spend some time with little Mr. B again! I love getting to see this cutie patootie every few months. He was sitting up all on his own this time so we made sure to get some cute shots showcasing this new skill as well as his precious little booty before heading outside for some shots of the whole family. Apparently his daddy is trying to convince him not to like having his picture taken but I think Mr. B knows he’s just too good looking and that he’d be depriving the whole world of the pleasure of seeing his sweet face.

Brittany & Brenton’s Fossil Creek Wedding

Brittany and Brenton had a beautiful ceremony last Saturday at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek. It was my first time shooting there and I must say it was quite breath taking. There are so many wonderful old trees shading the grounds. You hardly need any decorations when your venue is as pretty as this! I loved the ivy covered walls and the curving paths. Of course Brittany looked even prettier than her surroundings. I used to read about fairies and sprites a lot as a little girl and I’d always picture them glowing and sparkling in a brilliant green forest. I think this is the closest I’ll come to seeing something like that in real life!

Some couples tell me that they’ve never kissed each other as much in one day before as they have during their engagement session…then there are couples like these guys who I actually had to ask to stop kissing for a few shots! Haha I loved it! I mean after all what is an engagement session for if not to showcase the love two people have for each other? Well I think these guys are mighty fond of one another and I’m excited to meet the rest of their family at their wedding in September. People this sweet and easy going had to come from somewhere and I think I’ll enjoy their family’s company as much as theirs. A little preview from their session…

Miss D’s Second Birthday Session

Talk about one sweet little girl! Miss D is definitely going down in the record books as one of the most cooperative, sweet, and just all around adorable 2 year old’s ever. I was fully expecting that I’d have to start the session coaxing her out from behind mommy or daddy’s legs but boy was I mistaken. As soon as I told her there were some cute goats nearby for her to go meet we were fast friends! We had a good time making use of the McKinney area to get shots for her Elmo themed birthday party. Lindsay & Sam

Don’t hate me for the back to back blog posts. I don’t mean to clog up your feed but this past weekend was a very eventful one and I have oodles of pictures to edit and share. I met up with Lindsay and Sam to shoot their engagements and we had a fun time enjoying what will henceforth be referred to as “soft moments”. Ha! I’m detecting a water theme because they asked to get some shots by the lake and their wedding this June will be taking place the Dallas Aquarium. I can’t wait to see how everything comes together! Sweet S’s Newborn Session

I knew she was going to be pretty after meeting her mommy and daddy for Maternity pictures, but I had no idea she would come with the most amazing head of hair I have seen on an infant! Those precious little curls are as soft as can be! Little S would make a fabulous addition to my cute baby collection but alas I didn’t get to keep her. It’s such a fantastic thing to meet and photograph little sweethearts like this knowing that before the month is over they will already look different and bigger. Babies grow sooo incredibly fast and as a mommy I bet these first newborn pictures will have an extra special place in the hearts of this family for a long time.
